Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 7:178

Ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, from ‘Abd al-Karim, from Mujahid, who said: "The oath (al-qasam) is an oath (yamin)." Then he recited: "And they swore by Allah their strongest oaths."
