Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 7:185

Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from ‘Asim, from Bakr, who said: If a man swears an oath upon a man, and he causes him to break it, then the sin is upon the one who caused him to break it. That is because he only swore upon him out of envy for him.
