Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 7:202

Narrated to us Abd al-Rahim, from Abd al-Malik, from Ata, regarding a man who gifts his house to the House of Allah: He said: He sells it and sends its price to Makkah, or he goes and gives it as charity in Makkah, or he buys sacrificial animals and slaughters them in Makkah and gives them as charity.
