Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 7:209

Kuthayyir ibn Hisham narrated to us, from Furat, from Abd al-Karim, from Ikrimah, who said: If he says regarding a thing that is upon him as a sacrificial offering (hady), it is an expiation of an oath; it is from the promptings of Satan.
