Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 7:294

Marwan ibn Mu'awiyah al-Fazari narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Ta'ifi, from Maymunah bint Kardam al-Yasariyyah, that her father met the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, while she was riding behind him. He asked him, saying: "I have vowed to slaughter [a sacrifice] at Buwanah." The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "Is there an idol there?" She said: "My father said: 'No.'" The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to him: "Then fulfill your vow where you are able."
