Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 7:353

Al-Thaqafi narrated to us, from Khalid, from Abu Qilabah, regarding a man who makes a vow upon himself to fast for a month. He said: "He is more knowledgeable about what he made [as a vow], and he has made it his oath."
