Waki’ narrated to us, from ‘Ali ibn Mubarak, from Yahya, from ‘Ikrimah, regarding a man who vowed to slaughter his son. He said: He shall slaughter a ram and give its meat as charity. Then he said: "There has certainly been for you in Ibrahim an excellent pattern."
