Al-Dahhak narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from 'Ata', who said: "If the one who performs *zihar* (declares his wife unlawful like his mother's back) acts righteously, he does not have to offer expiation." Al-Dahhak said: "And by it we speak."
