Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 7:481

Ja'far narrated to us, from Ibn 'Awn, from Abu al-Umays, from Qays ibn Muslim, from Tariq ibn Shihab, who said: There was a man who had goats, and he swore an oath that he would not drink from their milk. When his wife saw that, she swore an oath that she would not drink from their milk. So they left the goats and neglected them. They came to Abdullah [ibn Mas'ud] and mentioned that to him. He said: "This is only from Satan. Return to the best state you were in before, and drink."
