Hadith 30:60
Yahya ibn Abi Bukayr narrated to us, he said: Zuhayr ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from al-Nu’man ibn Abi ‘Ayyash, from Abu Sa’id al-Khudri, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "The person of the lowest status among the people of Paradise is a man whom Allah turned his face away from the Fire toward Paradise, and a tree with shade was represented to him. He said: 'O my Lord, bring me forward to this tree so that I may be in its shade.' Allah said: 'Are you likely, if I do that, to ask Me for other than it?' He said: 'No, by Your Might.' So Allah brought him forward to it. Then another tree with shade and fruit was represented to him. He said: 'O my Lord, bring me forward to this tree so that I may be in its shade and eat from its fruit.' Allah said: 'Are you likely, if I grant you that, to ask Me for other than it?' He said: 'No, by Your Might.' So Allah brought him forward to it. Then another tree was represented to him with shade, fruit, and water. He said: 'O my Lord, bring me forward to this tree so that I may be in its shade, eat from its fruit, and drink from its water.' Allah said: 'Are you likely, if I do that, to ask Me for other than it?' He said: 'No, by Your Might, I will not ask You for other than it.' So Allah brought him forward to it. He said: Then the gate of Paradise is made apparent to him. He said: 'O my Lord, bring me forward to the gate of Paradise so that I may be beneath the fruits of Paradise and look at its people.' So Allah brings him forward to it, and he sees the people of Paradise and what is in it. He says: 'O my Lord, admit me into Paradise.' So Allah admits him into Paradise. When he enters Paradise, he says: 'This is for me, and this is for me.' Allah says: 'Wish.' So he wishes, and Allah reminds him: 'Ask for such and such,' until when his wishes are exhausted, Allah says: 'It is for you, and ten times like it.' He said: Then he enters his house, and his two wives from the wide-eyed houris enter upon him. They say to him: 'Praise be to Allah who chose you for us and chose us for you.' He says: 'No one has been given the like of what I have been given.'"
حدثنا يحيى بن أبي بكير قال ثنا زهير بن محمد عن سهيل بن أبي صالح عن النعمان بن أبي عياش عن أبي سعيد الخدري أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال إن أدنى أهل الجنة منزلة رجل صرف الله وجهه عن النار قبل الجنة ومثل له شجرة ذات ظل فقال أي رب قدمني إلى هذه الشجرة أكون في ظلها فقال الله هل عسيت إن فعلت أن تسألني غيره فقال لا وعزتك فقدمه الله إليها ومثل له شجرة أخرى ذات ظل وثمرة فقال أي رب قدمني إلى هذه الشجرة لأكون في ظلها وآكل من ثمرها فقال الله هل عسيت إن أعطيت ذلك أن تسألني غيره فقال لا وعزتك فقدمه الله إليها فتمثل له شجرة أخري ذات ظل وثمر وماء فيقول أي رب قدمني إلي هذه الشجرة أكون في ظلها وآكل من ثمرها وأشرب من مائها فقال الله هل عسيت إن فعلت أن تسألني غيره فيقول لا وعزتك لا أسألك غيره فيقدمه الله إليها قال فيبرز له باب الجنة فيقول أي رب قدمني إلى باب الجنة فأكون تحت ثمار الجنة وأنظر إلى أهلها فيقدمه الله إليها فيرى أهل الجنة وما فيها فيقول أي رب أدخلني الجنة فيدخله الله الجنة فإذا دخل الجنة قال هذا وهذا لي فيقول الله تمن فيتمنى ويذكره الله سل من كذا وكذا حتى إذا انقطعت به الأماني قال الله هو لك وعشرة أمثاله قال ثم يدخل بيته فيدخل عليه زوجتاه من الحور العين فتقولان له الحمد لله الذي اختارك لنا واختارنا لك فيقول ما أعطي أحد مثل ما أعطيت
