Hadith 30:81
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, from Hisham, from Humayd ibn Hilal, from Bishr ibn Ka’b, who said: Ka’b said: "Indeed, in Paradise there is a ruby that has no crack and no seam. In it are seventy thousand houses; in every house are seventy thousand of the wide-eyed houris. None shall enter it except a prophet, or a truthful one (siddiq), or a martyr, or a just leader, or one who is 'muhakkam' (judged/tested) regarding his own self." He said: We said, "O Ka’b, and what is the one who is 'muhakkam' regarding his own self?" He said: "The man who is captured by the enemy, and they give him the choice between committing disbelief or adhering to Islam, and then they kill him, so he chooses to adhere to Islam."
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن هشام عن حميد بن هلال عن بشر بن كعب قال قال كعب إن في الجنة ياقوتة ليس فيها صدع ولا وصل فيها سبعون ألف دار في كل دار سبعون ألفا من الحور العين لا يدخلها إلا نبي أو صديق أو شهيد أو إمام عادل أو محكم في نفسه قال قلنا يا كعب وما المحكم في نفسه قال الرجل يأخذ العدو فيحكمونه بين أن يكفر أو يلزم الإسلام فيقتل فيختار أن يلزم الإسلام
