Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:100

Waki' narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Abd al-Rahman al-Asamm, from Anas, who said: The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and Abu Bakr, and Umar, and Uthman, used not to shorten the takbir.
