Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:1063

Waki’ narrated to us, from Mis’ar, from Thabit ibn ‘Ubayd, from Ibn al-Bara’, from his father, who said: We used to love and prefer to stand to the right of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
