Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:108

Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from 'Asim, from Abu Razin, who said: I prayed behind 'Ali and Ibn Mas'ud, and they both used to complete the takbir.
