Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:1088

Waki’ narrated to us, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Husayn, from Abu Najih al-Makki, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: "For the ear of the son of Adam to be filled with molten lead is better for him than that he hears the caller and does not answer him."
