Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:118

Hushaym narrated to us, from Abu Bishr, from Ikrimah, who said: I saw Ya'la praying at the Maqam (Station of Ibrahim), saying the takbir upon every lowering and raising. He said: So I came to Ibn Abbas and informed him of that. Ibn Abbas said to me: "Is that not the prayer of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace? May Ikrimah have no mother (an expression of surprise/reproach)!"
