Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:1188

Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Isma’il ibn Muhammad, from Sa’d, from ‘Abdullah ibn Shaddad, who said: I heard the sobbing of ‘Umar while I was in the last rows during the morning prayer, and he was reciting: "I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allah."
