Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:1218

Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi narrated to us, from Qurrah, from al-Nazzal ibn 'Ammar, who said: Abu 'Uthman al-Nahdi narrated to me, saying: Abu Mas'ud led us in prayer in al-Maghrib, and he recited "Say, He is Allah, [who is] One." I wished that he had recited Surah al-Baqarah because of the beauty of his voice.
