Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Salamah ibn Kuhayl, from al-Hasan al-‘Arani, from Ibn Abbas, who said: I do not know if the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) used to recite [aloud] in the Dhuhr and ‘Asr [prayers], but we do recite.
