Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:1327

Ibn Numayr and Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Sa'd ibn 'Ubaydah, from al-Mustawrid ibn al-Ahnaf, from Silah, from Hudhayfah, who said: I prayed with the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. He began [reciting] al-Baqarah, so I said: "He will complete it and then bow with it." Then he began [reciting] Ali 'Imran, so I said: "He will complete it and then bow with it." Then he began [reciting] an-Nisa', so I said: "He will bow with it." But he recited until he completed it.
