Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, from Ash'ath, from Malik ibn 'Amarah, who said: I asked—I do not know how many—men from the companions of Abdullah. All of them were saying: "One does not recite behind an Imam," among them was 'Amr ibn Maymun.
