Hushaym narrated to us, he said: Dawud ibn Abi Hind informed us, he said: It was narrated that a man came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, guide me to a deed I may perform." He said: "Be the Imam of your people." He said: "If I am not able?" He said: "Then be their Mu'adhdhin (caller to prayer)." He said: "If I am not able?" He said: "Then be in the first row."
