Hushaym narrated to us, he said: Humayd, the freed slave of the Ansar, informed us, he said: I heard Abu Ja'far Muhammad ibn Ali narrating from his father, Ali ibn al-Husayn, that he used to not perform voluntary prayers during travel, neither before the prayer nor after it.
