Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:1470

Hafs narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Layla, and Ash'ath, and Hajjaj, from Atiyyah, from Ibn Umar, from the Prophet (peace be upon him), that he used to perform voluntary prayers while traveling.
