Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:148

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from ‘Asim ibn Kulayb, from his father, from Wa’il ibn Hujr, who said: I was among those who came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and I said: "I will certainly look at the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace." When he intended to bow, he raised his hands, then he bowed and placed his hands upon his knees.
