Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:1536

Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Abd al-Malik, from Ata, regarding a man who laughs in prayer. He said: If he smiles, he should not depart [from the prayer]. If he laughs aloud (qahqaha), he should restart the prayer, and there is no ablution upon him.
