Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:1547

Waki’ narrated to us, from Hisham, from his father, from Aisha, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to pray while he was sitting. When thirty or forty verses remained of the surah, he would stand up and recite them, then he would bow.
