Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:1610

Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn ‘Amr informed us, from al-Zuhri, who said: Our elders used to not lean (i.e., they would not sit for the rest). Meaning, if one of them raised his head from the second prostration in the first and third rak'ah, he would rise as he was, and he would not sit.
