Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:1612

Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn ‘Ajlan, from al-Nu’man ibn Abi ‘Ayyash, who said: I met more than one of the companions of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. When one of them would raise his head from the prostration in the first rak’ah and the third, he would stand up as he was and would not sit.
