Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ ibn al-Jarrah narrated to us, from Shu’bah, from Abu al-Tayyah al-Duba’i, he said: I heard Anas ibn Malik saying: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) used to mingle with us, and he would say to a brother of mine: "O Abu Umayr, what did the *nughayr* (small bird) do?" He said: And he sprinkled water on a mat of ours, then he prayed upon it.
