Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:1681

Ziyad ibn al-Rabi’ narrated to us, from Salih [al-Dahhan (al-Rummani)], that Jabir ibn Zayd used to dislike praying upon anything from animals, and he used to prefer praying upon anything from the plants of the earth.
