Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Khalid, from Abu Ma‘shar, from Ibrahim, who said: When the mu’adhdhin would say, "Hayya ‘ala al-salah" (hasten to the prayer), he would stand up. Then, when he said, "Qad qamat al-salah" (the prayer has been established), he would say the takbir.
