Hushaym narrated to us, he said: Mughira informed us, from Ibrahim, who said: Hudhayfah used to refrain from leading the prayer. He said: Then the prayer was established one day, and Abdullah refrained. He said: So Hudhayfah stepped forward. When he finished his prayer, he said to them: "You shall either seek—or he used a word other than it—an Imam other than me, or you shall pray individually." He said: Mujahid said, Abu Ma'mar said from Hudhayfah that he said: "Or you shall pray alone." Ibrahim said: "You shall pray alone."
