Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:1779

Sahl ibn Yusuf and Mu'adh ibn Mu'adh narrated to us, from Humayd, from Bakr, that Ibn al-Zubayr used to recite "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful" aloud. And he would say: "Nothing prevents them from it except arrogance."
