Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:1834

Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Mughirah, from Ibrahim, regarding a man who recites a prostration verse (sajdah) while he is upon a riding beast. He said: He should gesture with his head, a gesture, whichever direction his face is turned.
