Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:1949

Jarir narrated to us, from Mansur, from Ibrahim, regarding a man who hears the prostration [verse] while he is not in a state of ablution. He said: If he has water with him, he performs ablution and prostrates. If he does not have water with him, he performs tayammum and prostrates.
