Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:1965

Ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Sulaym ibn Hayyan, from Abu Ghalib, that Abu Umamah used to dislike prayer after the Asr [prayer] until the sun sets, and after the Fajr [prayer] until the sun rises. The people of Ash-Sham used to recite the [verse of] prostration after Asr. So, when Abu Umamah saw that they were reciting a surah containing a prostration after Asr, he would not sit with them.
