Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:1986

Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Ibn ‘Ajlan, from Zayd ibn Aslam, that a young boy recited *as-Sajdah* in the presence of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. The boy waited for the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, to prostrate. When he did not prostrate, he said, "O Messenger of Allah, is there not a prostration in this surah?" He said, "Yes, but you were our leader in it; had you prostrated, we would have prostrated."
