Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:1987

Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Sulaym Abu Ishaq, from Sulaym ibn Hanzala, who said: I recited Surah Bani Isra'il to Abdullah ibn Mas'ud. When I reached the prostration (sajdah), Abdullah said: "Recite it, for you are our leader in it."
