Ibn Numayr and Waki’ narrated to us, they said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Ash’ath ibn Abi al-Sha’tha’, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid, who said: We asked ‘Abdullah about the surah in which there is a prostration at its end: Should one perform ruku’ (bowing) or should one perform sujud (prostration)? He said: If there is nothing between you and the prostration except the ruku’, then it is close.
