Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:2045

Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Sa‘id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn ‘Umar, regarding the one who does not know whether he prayed three [rak‘ahs] or four: He said: "He repeats [the prayer] until he is certain."
