Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:2132

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Shababa bin Sawwar narrated to us, he said: Layth bin Sa’d narrated to us, from Yazid bin Abi Habib, that Suwayd bin Qays informed him, from Mu’awiyah bin Khudayj, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed one day, then he performed the taslim and departed, while there remained one rak’ah of the prayer for him. A man caught up with him and said: "You forgot one rak’ah of the prayer." So he returned and entered the mosque, and he ordered Bilal, so he performed the iqamah for the prayer, and he prayed one rak’ah with the people. I informed the people about that, and they said: "Do you recognize the man?" I said: "No, except that I would recognize him if I saw him." Then he passed by me, and I said: "It is this one." They said: "This is Talhah bin Ubaydullah."
