Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:2145

Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Mughirah, from Ibrahim, and from Ibn Jurayj, from ‘Ata’, they both said: If the Imam does not perform the prostration [of forgetfulness], then there is no prostration of forgetfulness upon them.
