Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:2280

Waki’ narrated to us, from Isma’il ibn Qays, from Abu Mas’ud, who said: A man came to the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I indeed lag behind in the morning prayer because of how long so-and-so makes it." He said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) stood up, and I have never seen him more angry in an exhortation than he was on that day. He said: "O people, indeed among you are those who drive (people) away. So whoever among you leads the people in prayer, let him be brief, for among them are the weak, the elderly, and those with needs."
