Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:2406

Waki’ narrated to us, from Isra’il, from Uthman al-Thaqafi, from Abu Ubayd Allah, the freed slave of Ibn Abbas, who said: Ali said: "Whoever misses any part of his *hizb* (regular portion of night prayer), then prays it when the sun has risen, it is as if he had prayed it at night."
