Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:2440

Waki’ narrated to us, from ‘Imran bin Hudayr, from Abu Mijlaz, who was asked about a man to whom a greeting is given while he is in prayer. He said: "He should respond by [turning] the right side of his head."
