Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:2510

Abu Usama narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from al-Zuhri, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Ka'b ibn Malik, from his father, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, would not arrive from a journey except during the day, in the forenoon (al-duha). When he arrived, he would begin with the mosque and pray two rak'ahs.
