Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:2612

Hushaym narrated to us, he said: Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad informed us, from Ibn Abi Layla, from al-Bara’ ibn ‘Azib, he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Indeed, it is a duty upon the Muslims that one of them should perform ghusl (full ablution) on the day of Jumu'ah, and that he should apply some perfume if his family has any. If he does not have any perfume, then water is perfume for him."
