Hushaym narrated to us, from Mansur, from Ibn Sirin, who said: A man from the Emigrants (Muhajirun) approached on the day of Friday. Umar said to him, "Have you performed ghusl (ritual bathing)?" He said, "No." He said, "You have known that we were commanded otherwise." The man said, "With what were you commanded?" He said, "With ghusl." He said, "Are you, the group of Emigrants, the leaders of the people?" He said, "I do not know."
