Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 3:2669

Hushaym narrated to us, he said: Al-‘Awwam informed us, from Ibrahim al-Taymi, who said: They used to like for the one who performed ghusl on the day of Jumu’ah that there be no hadath (ritual impurity) between him and the Jumu’ah. He said: And they used to say: If he committed a hadath after the ghusl, he returned to the state he was in before he performed the ghusl.
